Every year ucFSA holds a number of events, from Meet and Greet to Cultural Nite. These events are meant to reach out to and involve the members of the University of Calgary Campus and the general community. It is through these events that each member experiences new things and meets new people. It is a great opportunity to get involved, learn more about others and the Filipino culture and community and, of course, a great way to have fun! So come find the ucFSA booth during Club's Week (September 12-16) to purchase your membership and to learn more about these events.
Help us celebrate our 20th year as a Student Union sanctioned club at the University of Calgary! For more information, visit the anniversary gala page.

| Cultural Nite XIX | When: May 26, 2012 |
| Where: Boyce Theater | |
|
Cultural Nite is an annual production put on by ucFSA students. It will be entering its 19th year this year. This production combines traditional Filipino dances, including song numbers, through the means of a theatrical play. ucFSA's very own members are the performers in this once in a year spectacle. In the span of ten months, students work hard to learn an assortment of Filipino dances, from Pandanggo sa Ilaw to Tinikling to Singkil. For this year's production, two of our members joined forces to put together a play write that will knock your socks off! So stay tuned for updates and don't miss Cultural Nite XIX! As per tradition, Cultural Nite is also followed by a trip to Denny's for the Cast & Crew After Party~ |

| San Miguel | When: TBA |
| Where: Sundre Camping Grounds | |
|
Every year, on a weekend following or soon after the presentation of Cultural Night, cast, crew and ucFSA members and alumni get together for the final annual event of the year. CAMPING! Named after a famous beer from the Philippines, you can expect there to be drinks, games and all around fun! So don't miss out on this camping trip of a life time! What this trip offers is the chance to get closer to fellow members; to get to know each other outside of practice and off the stage. The grounds give us access to nature, nature and more nature. Roughing it out with the crew is the best end to a successful and rewarding year! |

ucFSA is a non-profit student organization. Financially we rely on donations, sponsors and the small amount that we make through our annual events. In order to support ourselves in a small way, while still reaching out to the community, we take on small performances at wedding receptions, small galas, festivals, etc. This summer, so far, we have performed at the Asian Heritage Dinner Gala and a wedding reception. We will be having another wedding performance in August. We will also be performing at this year's Global Fest. We are all excited to be given this opportunity and we invite everyone to join us during this week of festivities! (For early-bird Global Fest tickets please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible). If you are interested in having ucFSA perform at your event or if you have any questions regarding this matter please feel free to contact us!
